We extend a special welcome to those who are single, married, divorced, gay, filthy rich, poor as church mice, y no habla Ingles. We extend a special welcome to those who are newborn, poor as dirt, skinny as a rail or need to lose a few. You're welcome here if you're "just browsing," just woke up or just got out of jail. We welcome everyone!

ABOUT OUR CHURCH

First Congregational United Church of Christ is located at the corner of Bates and Cherry in Springfield, IL. The church began on February 6th, 1867 with "A meeting of a few citizens favorable to the formation of a Congregational church in this city was held."
